Abundance of love
Tickling tendrils of my soul:
Your hearts’ golden warmth.
Underneath the smiles
Lies a heart blown by weather.
She thought you a friend.
Tomorrow morning
The hug’s scent will dissipate:
Freedom once again.
When your attacker
Finds you despite your blocking,
Fear crackles your skin.
They reached out to her:
Lost friends who had turned away.
Blessings abounding.
